The Great Woods Music Festival is taking over the banks of the Brokenhead River for three nights of music, August 4-6. Now in its 16th year, the festival features performances by nearly a dozen artists, including The Lionel Young Band, Braithwaite & Whiteley, The Afterparty, and up-and-coming local blues rock outfit The Root In Fluents. If you can't make it out to Great Woods Park, you can also catch the band at Le Garage on August 7. We've also got The Root In Fluents track "Beguiled Ambiguity" as the featured download this week, off their debut album Red River Flu, which hit stores earlier this year.
