The Empty Standards
"Let You Go"

From the album Waiting Out the Flood

Featured track, available from December 29 to January 5

The Empty Standards are getting ready to ring in the new year. The roots rock quartet will take over Times Change(d) High & Lonesome Club to say farewell to 2011 and howdy to 2012 with a tribute to the lengedary Tom Petty on New Year's Eve. The band is fresh from the December release of its sophomore recording, Waiting Out the Flood, which is available around Winnipeg at McNally Robinson, Music Trader, and Into the Music, and will hit iTunes in the next year. You can also catch The Empty Standards this February at Festival du Voyageur. We've got the album's opening track, "Let You Go", as this week's featured free download. Grab it and celebrate another fantastic year in local music!
