Heather Bishop
"Party in the Sun"

From the album My Face is a Map of My Time Here

Featured track, available from May 28 to June 4

Award-winning singer/songwriter and Order of Canada recipient Heather Bishop is set to release her sixth album, My Face is a Map of My Time Here. The CD, which comes complete with a booklet of Bishop's artwork, will launch at Westminster United Church on May 30 with a little help from the Rainbow Harmony Project.

Bishop will also share the Park Theatre stage with fellow homegrown songwriters Keith Macpherson, George Belanger, and Sierra Noble with host Howard Mandshein on June 2 for Bluebird North: Where Writers Sing and Tell. Presented by the Songwriters Association of Canada and taking its name from Nashville's famed Bluebird Café, the concert aims to offer audiences a chance to hear each performer share their songs and stories in an acoustic, informal environment.

You can catch this week's featured download, "Party in the Sun," from Bishop's new album in The Loudspeaker until June 4.
