Del Barber is having quite the busy year. The singer/songwriter, who picked up two Western Canadian Music Awards in October as well as a JUNO nod for his last recording, signed a management deal with Paquin Entertainment, recorded an album with producer Sam Kassirer (Josh Ritter, Erin McKeown), and released Headwaters on Six Shooter Records on May 1. Somewhere in there, he's logged an impressive amount of time on the road, performed live on CBC's Q with Jian Ghomeshi, appeared on the cover of Uptown, filmed a live video, and headed out on a Canadian tour with JUNO-winner Old Man Luedecke. Heck, you can even read an interview with him in Manitoba Music's own quarterly newsletter. Hometown audiences will finally get a chance to see Barber live on May 28 with Old Man Luedecke at The Park Theatre and we've got a little preview for you.
