Clipwing is ready to launch. Formed in 2012 and featuring members of some familiar names from the local music family (High Five Drive, Charlie Company, Doc Brown, Prophet, Legion of Liquor) the punk rock outfit hit the studio before even playing its first live show. The result is the band's new split LP with France's Icons Down, which hits shelves in Canada courtesy of Winnipeg's New Form Label and in France via 30 Hour Drive Records. Audiences in Canada and Europe will be able to catch Clipwing on its fall tour (stay tuned for details). Winnipeg fans can head to the Windsor Hotel on July 20 for the album release party featuring openers Legion of Liquor, Torn Into, and Union Stockyards.
