If you haven't heard of Yes We Mystic yet, you'll be hearing a lot very soon. Cheekily named for a tanning salon bus stop ad, the up-and-coming quintet has brought its blend of traditional folk and indie rock influences to local stages, including festivals Big Fun and Rainbow Trout. After joining the Head In The Sand family (Les Jupes, Rococode, Oldfolks Home, Demetra), Yes We Mystic is slated to release its debut EP, Floods and Fires, which was produced by Head In The Sand's Michael P Falk. The band will take over The Park Theatre on September 6with friends Oshima and From Giants. New song "Flashlight" is our featured song for you this week.
