Right about now, Slow Leaves is probably on the road. The singer/songwriter, also known as Grant Davidson, is in the midst of a western Canadian tour that will deposit him in his hometown of Winnipeg on October 21 at the Park Theatre to open for England's Lucy Rose, then to Alberta to finish off the month. He'll be back in Winnipeg next month for the West End Cultural Centre's new concert series, Now Introducing..., which features two established local artists introducing up-and-coming artistic talents. The November 16 show pairs Slow Leaves with Imaginary Cities' Rusty Matyas, who produced Slow Leaves' new EP, Second Chances. The EP is just a taste of the forthcoming full-length, Beauty Is So Common, and its title track is this week's featured song.
