JP Hoe
"Sing O' Holy Night"

From the album Hoe Hoe Hoe Holiday Songs

Featured track, available from December 12 to December 20

It just wouldn't be the holidays without JP Hoe. The acclaimed singer/songwriter has been warming audiences' hearts with his annual Hoe Hoe Hoe Holiday Show for years. This year, the event is decking a bigger hall, taking its cheer to the Burton Cummings Theatre on December 13. Lucky fans may still be able to snag a few seats for the show, which also features roots darlings Sweet Alibi, a massive backing band, and likely a few fun surprises. It's a good end to a busy year for the hard-touring Hoe, whose latest album Mannequin landed Western Canadian Music Award nods for Independent Album of the Year and Pop Recording of the Year, while his Procter Bros-directed "Nothing's Gonna Harm You" was named Video of the Year. He also stepped in front of the camera to film one of our Loft Session segments (plus BT Winnipeg's playful holiday video, below). To celebrate the season, Hoe's original Christmas song, "Sing O' Holy Night" off his Hoe Hoe Hoe Holiday Songs EP, is our featured song this week. Unwrap it for yourself, stream more holiday tunes by local artists, and do not miss JP Hoe live!
