MEME is turning five this month! Running August 14-17, downtown Winnipeg becomes the playground for DJs and artists from across the world and right here at home who will be showcasing music and digital art in venues like the Pyramid Cabaret, Union Sound Hall, and outdoors at The Cube stage. One of the artists hitting the MEME stage is homegrown techno / tech house wizard, John Norman, who takes over The Cube at 8:50pm on August 16. Norman's name has been been in the news quite a bit, of late, including nods from Germany's Faze Mag and Technoszene, Robotic Peacock, and more. With a fresh EP, titled 313, released last month on KMS Records, the composer/DJ is currently in Ibiza and headed back to Winnipeg just in time for MEME. As a special MEME birthday gift, we've got Norman's original track "Tunnel Vision" off Ibiza-based UNT Records' sampler. Download it and get ready to party, Winnipeg!
