Basic Nature
"Gone"

From the album Circles + Lines

Featured track, available from December 17 to December 25

Basic Nature is closing off 2015 on a high note. The Winnipeg-based dream pop duo has been turning heads for its debut, Circles + Lines on Dub Ditch Picnic, garnering nods from media and critics -- including Make A Little Noise, Ride The TempoPrimal MusicWeird Canada, and Stylus -- and landing on year-end best-of lists. The band is hitting the stage at The Good Will on Friday, December 18 to help launch the Big Fun Festival, along with Benowa and Not Animals. Coming up on January 26, Basic Nature will be back at The Good Will for a show in conjunction with the WSO's Winnipeg New Music Festival, along with Palm Trees. Basic Nature will head into the studio in January to start work on a new full-length, with a single slated for the spring along with upcoming Canadian tour dates and an invitation to Toronto's Canadian Music Week. To celebrate the end of the year, we've got the pair's song "Gone" as this week's feature tune. Get it, get out to the Big Fun Festival launch party and WNMF, and don't miss Basic Nature live on stage.
