The Crooked Brothers
"You Can't Tell Me"

From the album Deathbed Pillowtalk

Featured track, available from November 5 to November 12

Newcomers The Crooked Brothers are ready to unleash their debut album, Deathbed Pillowtalk, on local indie label Transistor 66 Record Co. The trio, which features SubCity's Matt Foster and Darwin Baker with solo artist Jesse Matas, will share its brand of melancholic roots on November 5 at the West End Cultural Centre with some help from The Magnificent 7's and Nathan's Keri Latimer. The guys will promptly wind their way east for a number of dates in Ontario and Quebec. If you miss the CD release show, you'll likely have to wait until the new year to catch the band again when they hit Times Change(d) in January. To keep you busy until then, download "You Can't Tell Me" from The Loudspeaker, available until November 15. (We hear it goes well with bourbon.)
