It's been a busy year for Jaylene Johnson. The acclaimed singers/songwriter launched a new album, Potter & Clay, in October and picked up seven Covenant Award nods, and earned a JUNO Award nomination for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year, landed media attention from CBC, Winnipeg Free Press, Metro, Global, CTV, and more, and was a finalist for the International Songwriter Competition (technically, she was three finalists). Fresh from a Western Canadian tour and several dates with Steve Bell, Johnson is set to play to a hometown audience this month, performing at the Fly & Camel Cafe on April 22 with her band.
