You might not know Roman Clarke's name yet, but you may have seen his face behind a drum set in recent years. One third of yacht rock oufit The Middle Coast, Clarke has also been turning heads for his solo soul rock. With two singles out already and a performance at this year's TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival, he's ready to hit the stage at Old Market Square on Wednesday, August 2 to kick off this year's MB Live at The Cube lunchtime concert series. Clarke will be serving up fresh local tunes along with Alpha Toshineza (Aug 9), Jérémie & The Delicious Hounds (Aug 16), and Amadians (Aug 23). He'll release his latest single on August 1, play the Harvest Moon Festival in mid September, and gear up to launch his debut album on September 21 at The Good Will before hitting the road with hometown heores The Bros. Landreth in October. Stay tuned for a new album in 2018. In the meantime, we've got his single "Faithful Man" for you as this week's featured song.
