Indian City
"5000 Miles"

From the album Here & Now

Featured track, available from May 10 to May 16

Indian City is gearing up for a busy spring. The band's latest recording, Here & Now, has already earned a JUNO nod and this week, it could pick jup two Indigenous Music Awards. Winnipeg audiences can catch Indian City live at the IMA gala on May 18 at the Club Regent Event Centre. Stay tuned for a new single in June, plus performance on June 21 at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. To celebrate, we've got the third single off Here & Now as this week's featured tune. The song, "5000 Miles", was inspired by the 5000-mile journey of a Totem Pole that the Lummi Nation of Washington State gifted to Sagkeeng First Nation, which passed through many communities along its journey, including Standing Rock North Dakota. Give it a listen, cheer on all the IMA nominees, and don't miss your chance to see Indian City live on stage.
