NEW FUND TO DELIVER URGENT MICRO GRANTS TO MUSICIANS AND SELF-EMPLOYED INDUSTRY WORKERS FACING INCOME LOSS AND UNCERTAINTY

Manitoba Music has launched an emergency relief fund to help musicians and self-employed workers in Manitoba who are facing financial crisis due to lost income and unrecoverable expenses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The music industry is facing unprecedented uncertainty due to cancelations of events, concerts, tours and festivals. Read the full announcement

This fund is intended to provide emergency micro grants for urgent short term financial relief. We recognize that the demand for this fund may exceed our resources, and that we may only be able to assist a small percentage of those who are requesting help. Priority will be given to those in greatest need and who may not be eligible for other financial supports.

The fund is open for music fans and supporters to donate. Anyone interested in supporting the fund with donations can do so by clicking the "donate" button below. Manitoba Music is a not-for-profit, member-based association that does not have charitable status and donors will not receive a charitable receipt.
