About

George Harold Epp explores music in a wide variety of genres, from pop to rock, klezmer to jazz to electronic, country and experimental. Centred around piano and synthesizer, arrangements are supported by vocals, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, horns, bass and percussion. It all comes down to the inspiration of the moment, which may drive him to an orchestral arrangement one week and an electronic pop piece the next. His music has been featured 4 times on CFAM/CHSM’s “Made in Manitoba”. George Harold Epp’s CD’s include 1998 release “ReSeedingEden”, 2003's “Exodus, Stage Left” (musical), and his 2013 instrumental pop/rock CD, “Driving Through the Rockies”. Singles include 2013 release “Be Still” and his new 2014 cover song release, “Piano Man”.

"Driving Through the Rockies", an instrumental pop CD, is inspired by trips through Canada's Rocky Mountains. The drive from Calgary’s Foothills to the entry gate of Banff National Park is one of joyful anticipation, with the prairies disappearing in the rearview mirror and the Rockies ahead. Steeped in adventure, sights, wonders and fireside conversations, a good road trip is able to foster relationships for a lifetime. This was Epp's experience and those memories spawned many of these songs.  Perhaps you will play these songs as the soundtrack to your own journeys. Enjoy the drive. Listen to the title track "Driving Through the Rockies" below.

George Harold Epp continues to show diversity in his musicianship with 7 new single releases in 2014. Two of these, "SHIFT" and "English Bay"  are featured in audio below.
