Good + Plenty Arts Collective

About

The Good + Plenty Arts Collective is a non-profit organization committed to creating more opportunities for women, 2Spirit, non-binary and gender-expansive individuals within the Manitoba music and music production industry. We achieve this through artistic and business workshops and training, networking mixers, mentorship, opportunities for showcasing, and peer knowledge sharing.

The Good + Plenty Arts Collective is the umbrella organization for our current programming and initiatives: the Good + Plenty Producer's Club (in-person group), the Good + Plenty Producer's Club podcast, and SYNC'D UP.

In 2022 the collective launched the Good+ Plenty Producer's Club (GPPC) which seeks to bring together Manitoba's women, non-binary, 2Spirit, and gender diverse folks working in or interested in audio engineering, music production, and live sound engineering. The GPPC hosts meetups and mixers, workshops, peer mentorship opportunities, and more to connect and empower these equity-deserving individuals within these traditionally male-dominated spaces. The GPPC also hosts a podcast which is used as an educational tool for those entering the production world by hosting interviews with prominent women/gender diverse producers and audio engineers from across Canada.
