Don Swidinsky has been playing guitar since the age of 8, and has his unique style of flat picking on the acoustic six string guitar, which he calls Canadian flat picking. Don has recorded 6 original albums, in a Cannadiana style, and does a lot of instrumentals. Don also writes songs. One of his recordings is "The Suzanne E.", a true story about the last shipwreck on Lake Winnipeg. In the past Don has been a regular performer on television on the "Westerrn Hour", hosted by Len Fairchuk, and also "The Golden Age Jamboree" from The Lions Place, 610 Portage Ave. Don's tunes are played on radio on CKUW, UMFM, CBC, and Radio Southern Manitoba.
Mitsu Sawabe, occasional player, plays congoes and banjo in the style of Earl Scruggs. Don and Mitsu were part of a bluegrass band called The Duck Mountain Ramblers.
