In many Latin American countries, the arrival of the holiday season is marked by parrandas. These street festivals are a joyous gathering of people, with lots of food, fireworks, and of course lots and lots of music and dancing in celebration of the season. Trio Bembe (Rodrigo Muñoz, Amber Epp, Victor López) joins the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra for a holiday concert that captures that joy and paints a musical tableau of Latin American year-end celebrations.
