Burt Block Parties return this summer, bringing the festival atmosphere outdoors to downtown Winnipeg for two weekends. The events will take place directly outside the Burton Cummings Theatre between Smith Street and Notre Dame Avenue, welcoming up to 4,000 fans each night, rain or shine.

Friday, August 12 – Peach Pit, Yukon Blonde, JayWood, Living Hour
Saturday, August 13 – The Watchmen, I Mother Earth, Bif Naked, Hello Fiasco
Friday, August 19 – Nazareth, Streetheart, Headpins, The Pumps/Orphan
Saturday, August 20th – Rise Against, Pup, Cancer Bats, Death Cassette

The Burt Block Parties on Aug. 12, 13, and 19 are produced in partnership with the world’s largest concert promoter, Live Nation Canada. The Rise Against show on Aug. 20 is produced in partnership with F7 Entertainment. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs for the concerts and will enjoy a fully licensed site, food trucks and vendors.

VIP packages are available for $99.50 (plus fees)* and include a VIP laminate that will provide access to the Johnston Group VIP Lounge to watch the show, exclusive bar service, and access to the Burt’s indoor washrooms.
