ABOUT THE PERFORMERS

DAIISU
Daiisu is an 18 year old Filipino singer-songwriter out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Getting her start on Twitch, she has grown a small following playing to thousands of people through the platform. Being surrounded by a wide variety of genres and sounds she pulls from many influences such as Mac Ayres, Sam Kim, and Kevin Garrett. To create her unique blend of R&B, Indie, and Jazz, Daiisu's songwriting tells stories close to the heart creating a warm and intimate vibe around her work. She recently released her first single "Every Single Night" on all streaming platforms.

ADIYO
Adiyo is a Congolese-born fast-rising singer, songwriter, and music producer based in Winnipeg, Canada, where she's popularly known for her ground-breaking sounds. She came into the music-making game to express her ever-burning passion for music.

The development of her unique style of music resulted from a lifetime of musical influence she received - she grew up surrounded and loving Congolese rumba and the symphony. moreover, Adiyo is also heavily influenced by World, Singersongwriter, and R&B genres of music. Still, her love for African orchestral music outshines it all. Her passion for music also streams from her motivations from major headliners and prominent music and entertainment industry artists. To mention a few, musicians like Toni Braxton, Sade, and Ms. Lauryn Hill inspire her music career.

In a music era where trendy sounds are the game, she appreciates showcasing incredible creativity and passion in her music. Regardless of the musical trends and styles, Adiyo is bent on creating highly narrative and relatable music. She draws inspiration from real-life experiences as well as her on-the-spot creative prowess. Whenever she takes center stage, there's no limit to her flair.

Adiyo sang the national anthem at Winnipeg, Canada's High School and University games. after some time away from the studio and the music scene, she keeps her fans in high anticipation of the release of her mini-album this year. She passes messages that resonate from an honest and genuine desire to inspire many with heart-melting lyrics and voice.

In addition to her love for music-making, Adiyo is also an avid advocate for Mental health. She co-founded Bantugirls.com, a Mental Health & Lifestyle blog supporting Black women this year.

COHEN SIEG
At 20 years old, Cohen Sieg has been writing and performing for half his life. Hailing from Sieg's Corner, MB, he has become a local favourite while making his way to festivals, events, and open mics across the country. Cohen is a folk/pop singer-songwriter who is known for playing guitar, but is also a talented multi-instrumentalist playing a full band of instruments including bass, keyboard, saxophone, and percussion, to name a few. Cohen is a solo-musician but with the help of his looper, his captivating performances encompass the sounds and impact of a full band. Cohen has been receiving accolades since his humble beginnings in rural Manitoba, but has quickly expanded his reach, including Los Angeles, CA, where he holds a certificate from the Musicians Institute, College of Contemporary Music, Perth, WA, where he toured in the fall of 2018 and Vancouver BC, where he co-wrote "The Thought of You" with up-and-coming R&B artist "Bukola" at Nimbus School of Recording & Media which featured Dave Genn, the bassist of the 54-40. Following "The Thought of You" and his cover of The 1975's "She Lays Down", was his breakout single “Glad You’re My Girl”, which was recorded at Paintbox Recording in early 2020. The single has since gone on to be played on CBC radio and streamed globally thousands of times since its release. He has a passion for music that is undeniable, and you can hear it in the songs he plays such as The 1975's "Somebody Else", Phil Colins "In the Air Tonight," and Charlie Puth's "Attention."
