We close the season with the sublime sounds of the BRUCE BARTH TRIO. A pivotal member of the New York jazz scene for 40 years, pianist Bruce Barth has played with a veritable who’s-who of jazz icons, including Art Farmer, Freddie Hubbard, Phil Woods, and Terell Stafford. His taste, technique, and sensitivity are evident in over 125 recordings and soundtracks, including more than a dozen as a leader. His new recording Dedication is a blend of celebration and Memoriam, filled with life, dance, and swing. Both an accomplished composer and a consummate interpreter of the standards, Barth is a frequent guest on stages across North America and Europe.
