It’s a proven fact that one of the strongest forms of connection can be made through music and culture. It builds bridges of communication between various cultures, allowing us to learn from each other. This year’s beloved Music ‘N’ Mavens series does just this.
SUSTENANCE II II. Elation Pauls is Artistic Director of the Rosamunde Summer Music Academy and Festival and Assistant Principal Second Violin with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. She has performed as soloist in Germany and Canada and as chamber musician for many celebrated Festivals. Elation spent a week-long residency in Israel in 2018 with support from the Winnipeg and Manitoba Arts Councils. She will be performing music by prominent Canadian composers from her debut album as well as Ravel’s Kaddish and selections from Schindler’s List.
