Tall Paul is an Anishinabe MC from Leech Lake, Minnesota by way of Minneapolis, most noted for his "Prayers in a Song" track, which demonstrates the power that Indigenous languages can have when they're set to quality hip hop instrumentals.
Mariame is a Cree pop/R&B singer based in Montreal, Quebec who released her debut album, entitled Bloom, on June 1. The Indian Country Today Media Network published a short piece about the release of her first music video at the beginning of May and the post picked up over 4,000 Facebook "Likes" in its first couple of days online.
Hellnback, a co-founder of Warparty (circa '93) and one of the original power forwards for Team Rezofficial, has re-emerged from a brief hiatus from rap recordings with his first solo release entitled #FOE = #FAMILYOVEREVERYTHING. The album earned nominations for Best Rap/Hip Hop CD and Best Album Cover Design at the 2015 Indigenous Music Awards shorlty after it's April 30, 2015 street date.
T-Rhyme is lyricist from northern Saskatchewan who uses the spirit and sound of golden era hip hop to the shine a spotlight on the Native experience. Along with music, her artistry flows through her Beads, Rhymes & Life jewelry line.
Boogey The Beat is the principal producer behind the CTL Records releases along with the introductory music for CBC's "New Fire with Lisa Charleyboy." His DJing chops have landed on stages for the Indspire Awards and Stage 49 at the Gathering of Nations.
