THE HUB: 5 VENUES // 3 BLOCKS
The Rachel Browne Theatre, the Winnipeg Free Press News Café, and Cinematheque will feature sets by some of Winnipeg’s top singers and instrumentalists, as well as nationally and internationally established artists like Amanda Tosoff, Juno-nominated Erin Propp & Larry Roy, and the Ron Paley Band. The VG Lounge at The Fairmont Winnipeg will be the spot to embrace the magic of spontaneity and revel in the improvisation as The dig! Late Night Jam takes over.

The King’s Head Pub will once again feature a powerhouse lineup, including Juno winner Steve Hill, the boot-stompin’ and hand-clappin’ sound of Little Miss Higgins, and the angelic harmonies of Sweet Alibi. Sit back and let Sol James deliver her powerful tunes and introduce you to some of her favourite local artists in the variety show-style “Sol James Revue.”

The Liquor Marts Patio at the Cube Lounge is back again to offer a unique outdoor summer jazz experience. From June 23 to June 25, Old Market Square will be transformed into an open-air jazz club, complete with cabaret-style seating directly in front of The Cube stage. Audiences can enjoy a drink in a relaxed urban setting while enjoying free concerts by Quincy Davis and Q5, Walle Larsson, Sunny Roseland, and more.

WELCOME TO SUMMER! JAZZ FESTIVAL FREE OPENING WEEKEND
Join us at Old Market Square for the start of Winnipeg’s summer festival season at our Opening Weekend — which is always free and packed with diverse and exciting music. Old Market Square vibrates with energy and enthusiasm from Thursday, June 16 to Sunday, June 19. Thursday night is full of festival favourites like Moses Mayes ft. Maiko Watson and The Mariachi Ghost, Friday is the ever-popular Latin Night featuring Papa Mambo, on Saturday night indie rock reigns with Close Talker and VIKINGS taking the stage, and Sunday’s a funky R&B dance party with a hip hop vibe featuring the incredible Dawn Pemberton. Each night has its own distinct feel, but all are equally full of talent and solid groove.

JAZZ FOR LUNCH
Catch some rays and catch up with friends at our free noon-hour concert series. Jazz For Lunch features free concerts in Old Market Square on June 17 and from June 20 to June 24 with outstanding artists including Dawn Pemberton, Amber Epp, and The Winnipeg Jazz Collective.
