About
Although he is busy as a pianist/singer/composer in Toronto, Mike Janzen is making time to return to his home province for this collaboration. Mike has performed in several international jazz festivals, with orchestras throughout North America (using his arrangements), and with the likes of Phil Dwyer, Terry Clarke, Andrew Downing and Steve Bell. His song, There’s No Escaping Spring won Best Jazz / Blues song of the year at the 2011 Gospel Music Association Awards. This concert will feature arrangements of some of the great music from the stage and screen!
