On est très heureux d’accueillir à nouveau Amber J Epp aux Mârdi Jazz du CCFM. Une des voix les plus chaleureuses et envoûtantes du jazz winnipégois - récompensée aux Global music awards for jazz en 2014, rappelons-le! -, et aussi une pianiste d’exception.

Originaire de Steinbach, elle commence à jouer du piano à l’âge de huit ans et chante à la chorale de son école. Au secondaire, elle découvre le jazz. C’est le choc. Son monde ne sera plus le même.

Adulte, elle parcourt le monde et affine son style au gré de ses rencontres. C’est un voyage que la musicienne propose à son public, teinté de musique latine, délivré avec le cœur. 

We’re very happy to host Amber Epp again at the Mârdi Jazz of the CCFM. One of the most wonderful and charming voices of Winnipeg’s jazz, and also an exceptional pianist.

She grew up in Steinbach, where she started to play the piano at 8, and joined every choir she could. Then, she discovered jazz in high school. A revelation. Her world was changed forever.

She later travelled the world and sharpened her style, nourished from all her encounters. Prepare for a joyful and warm trip, influenced by Latin music!
