About

Join us as we perform a benefit concert in support of the Mr. Gilles Crevier family. In April 2016, Gilles' wife Bridget, was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder known as "Complex Regional Pain Syndrome" or CRPS. It is widely known as an agonizing chronic pain condition, and has totally immobilized Bridget. She has been unable to walk in two years. The condition originally involved her right leg and has caused significant deformity to her right foot. Despite ongoing treatment and doctors visits, the syndrome has continued to progress. In addition to taking a multitude of pills per day, Bridget self administers an immunoglobulin injection three times per week to give herself some temporary relief from the continual extreme discomfort. It is unknown whether the condition will ever improve.

The Crevier home and vehicle require modifications to meet Bridget's mobility needs. This has placed a great amount of stress, anxiety and financial hardship to the Crevier family. With numerous doctor appointments, Mr. Crevier exhausts his vacation and personal leave time to take Bridget to appointments and treatments, while looking after the needs of their six children, aged 4 - 14.

As such, Joy Winter and friends of the Creviers have asked the public to join with the Winnipeg Pops Orchestra, The Snow Tones and special guest, Suzanne Rutledge on Saturday April 28th in what promises to be a "show-stopper" evening with proceeds going towards assisting the Creviers with their ever-growing needs and medical costs. Gilles is WPO's Concert Master and the orchestra is so fortunate and elated that Gilles is able to continue his commitment as the conductor's right-hand man.
