Jake and Sam Menard, go by their band name Movin’ Right Along! Jake is 21 and Sam is 18 and have been playing together in one form or another for around 8 years. Their family is very musical and have grown up playing in several bands.

Sam, with a Dwight Yoakam-style voice lays down a cool rhythm guitar and Jake with a Stevie Ray Vaughn-sort-of-feel pumps out some eccentric leads that leaves you wanting more. Both draw influences from the greats (IE: Stevie Ray, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, Dwight Yoakam, and various other legendary artists.)

With a focus primarily on blues and old school country, they have recently branched into more of a classic rock feel, (think “Sweet child o’ mine, or “house of the rising sun,” but with their own unique twists added in!) They absolutely love to play music together and are beyond excited to perform at Sam’s Place!
