Come write songs with Justin and we'll share them at our concert on Aug 11 in support of the Lake Winnipeg Foundation !
Justin Lacroix is a bilingual singer-songwriter from Winnipeg. He'll be bringing his blended sound of folk-pop and heart to Albert Beach.
As Artist-in-Residence for the week, he'll be setting up at The Beach Exchange and offering:
- Songwriting sessions every morning. Registration is at Saffies and is $10 per session plus a donation to the Lake Winnipeg Foundation. Note that Wed's session will be in French. Every morning, we'll work on a song together as a group. Justin will then put all four of the songs to music and perform them on Saturday, at the fundraising concert.
All ages and levels welcome. Places are limited. You can register at Saffies (in store or by sending us a message).
- In the afternoons, Justin will be working on his own writing. Anyone working on their own songs and wanting to join him are welcome to drop by. He'll be happy to share thoughts and feedback when requested.
- Mark your calendars for Saturday Aug 11th when Justin will be joined by other bilingual artists for the annual Lake Winnipeg Foundation concert! More on that soon!
