Jocelyn Gould is a Canadian jazz guitarist from originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Passionate about the history of jazz guitar, she cites Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell and Grant Green as her primary influences. Having completed her Masters of Jazz Studies degree at Michigan State University under the mentorship of guitar great Randy Napoleon in spring of 2018, she has recently relocated to New York City. Jocelyn has performed professionally with many world class musicians including the legendary Freddy Cole and trombonist Michael Dease. She holds the guitar chair in the Detroit based big band The Gathering
