As time goes by and the autumn leaves are falling, come rain or shine, the West End Cultural Centre will be presenting the West End Strutters Ball on Saturday, October 20th. Some of Winnipeg’s best western swing, street jazz, gypsy jazz and bluegrass musicians come together to put us in a sentimental mood by paying homage to the best of southern styles of Americana.  These artists will serenade you like a lover in the days of wine and roses.  Expect an evening of collaboration, imagination, paper moons and all the things you are.

So, even if you don’t get around much anymore, grab yourself a dollar (or twenty), it’s just one of those things, and take a walk on the sunny side of the street over to the West End, or Into The Music to buy a ticket so we can listen to old jazz, bluegrass and western swing standards under the midnight sun and be alone together.
