First Prize Laureate of the 12th Banff International String Quartet Competition (BISQC), the Rolston String Quartet was named among the CBC’s 2016 “30 Hot Canadian Classical Musicians Under 30.” On the heels of their Banff win, the Rolstons immediately embarked upon a rigorous winner’s tour, with many concerts throughout the USA, Canada, Europe and Israel. “They performed with a maturity and cohesion rivaling the best string quartets in the world.” (Musical Toronto) The ensemble is currently the Yale School of Music’s Fellowship Quartet-in-Residence.
