FemFest is introducing an all-new event this year: a Walking Art Tour exploring historic parts of Downtown Winnipeg! The tour will consist of five pieces of site-specific performance designed to fit each unique space, showcasing the beauty and history behind some of our city’s hidden gems.
We’ll be starting and ending the tour at the Asper Centre for Theatre and Film (400 Colony St at the U of W)
1.U of W (Wesley Hall) – Emilie Lemay, visual artist
2.WAG ramp at Memorial Blvd – Tiana Northage, spoken word
3.Hudson’s Bay – Alexandra Elliott and Hilary Anne Crist, movement
4.Portage Place (Edmonton Court) – Dawn Lavand, stand-up comedy
5.Saigon Park – Wanda Wilson, musician
