About

Polish Fest – One World of Cultures is an opportunity to showcase and share traditional Polish food, dance and language with the community.  In addition, Polish Fest will feature various ethnic groups within Winnipeg and from abroad through performances and workshops.  Polish Fest is an event that will entertain, excite and showcase local talent and culture.  People of all ages who have an interest in culture, community, art, music, dance, food as well as the celebration of ethnic diversity in Manitoba are welcome.

Polish Fest will take place on Saturday, October 20 from 1pm-11:30pm at the Club Regent Event Centre, 1425 Regent Avenue West in Winnipeg.

Entertainers include:

Special guests Lajkonik Polish Song and Dance Ensemble from Chicago, Illinois

Hoosli Ukrainian Male Chorus

Polish School of Dance Sokol

Sokol Polish Folk Ensemble

Kapisztran Hungarian Dance Ensemble

Polish Dance Ensemble SPK Iskry

Czerwona Rzeka

Hrvatska Zora, Croatian Dawn Winnipeg

Selo Ukrainian Dancers

 

Shows are 75 minutes each at 1:30pm, 3:15pm, 5pm, 6:45pm and 8:30pm. Every show will be different.

Traditional Polish food will be available for purchase from 1pm-10:30pm.

Admission:
$10 per person for an all day pass.
Children 12 years and younger are free when accompanied by an adult.

Purchase your tickets on our Facebook event page (https://www.facebook.com/PolishFestSokolDays/)  or Eventbrite.ca before October 17 to be entered to win 2 tickets courtesy of Bell Media to see Russell Peters during his 'Deported World Tour' in Winnipeg on November 13.  Winner will be drawn at Polish Fest, October 20 at the 6:45pm show.
