This group of string players - violinists, violist and ‘cellists - has been playing together for a number of years, and have come from a wide variety of backgrounds, including teachers, an electrician, a hair dresser, a jet aircraft engine technician, music resource teacher, retired judges, and a housewife and play-mother.

Most of us are also members of the Winnipeg Pops Orchestra or the Mennonite Community Orchestra and some play with the Winnipeg Fiddlers, and at Folklorama Pavillions or other orchestras.

While we are all non-professional musicians, we take making music seriously and rehearse more or less weekly throughout the year.

Our objective is to provide fine music, in a variety of styles, and in this manner we hope to provide listening enjoyment to our listeners. We trust you will not disappoint you.
