We are thrilled to announce that Rock the Mic will be hosted at Assinboia Downs. This unique, one-of-a-kind event will begin on Thursday, November 1st and will continue for the following three Thursdays (November 8th, 15th and 22nd).

If you are a Karaoke fan, singer or just want a night out to listen to a wide range of music and dance to your heart's desire, then Rock the Mic is the perfect event for you! Rock the Mic is unlike traditional karaoke bar experiences. Rock the Mic affords its audience the opportunity to sing with the live band. The Danny Kramer Dance Band includes Juno Award winners and they can collectively perform approximately 900 songs as they back up the singers!

The Danny Kramer Dance Band allows singers of all ages, abilities and musical interests to participate and have the time of their lives! As a singer, you can choose from Classic Rock, Reggae, Jazz, Pop and classics like Sinatra, Elvis and The Beatles. If none of those interest you, you can also choose from Top 40 artists such as Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars. If you don't love to sing, you probably love to dance! This event is perfect for dance fans to come and dance all night to the diverse variety of songs. Rock the Mic is fun for all ages!

To top it off, Rock the Mic occurs on Thursdays. On Thursdays, we have so much to offer at Assiniboia Downs. While at Rock the Mic, you can also enjoy our Certified Prime Rib Buffet and drink specials. While taking a break from singing your heart out, you may choose to play our 140 VLTs. Who knows? You may win big!
