2018 was a stand-out year - we set records for having the longest Red River Mutual Trail at 10 km for the most days open at 72. We hosted the first International Crokicurl Tournaspiel, which will be making a comeback this February. We gave our brand a facelift, welcomed CN as the major sponsor for the stage and field, and unveiled a stunning new sculpture, Niimaamaa, at the entryway to Niizhoziibean, and much, much more. Manitoba and Winnipeg recognized at international levels for tourism: Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2018 and Airbnb’s 19 Destinations to Visit in 2019, and we’re excited to celebrate with the community on New Year’s Eve at The Forks!
