Evans Coffie, originally from Ghana, West Africa, was chosen in his small village to be trained in the national oil company. dance of his country, where he has been principal dancer for more than 11 years.
During an international tour of the dance company, he discovered the beauty of Canada and decided to integrate into his landscape. This was the beginning of Coffieman, which gives dynamic performances to African fusion rhythms for everyone's pleasure.
Coffieman now travels the country, entertaining people of all ages wherever he goes. His Ghanaian calypso, reggae and highlife music, combined with his animal cries and drum agility, make it easy for everyone.
Children 12 and under can visit the Museum for free from December 22, 2018 to January 5, 2019.
