À seulement 17 ans, Will Bonness rejoignait le Ferguson’s Big Bop Nouveau Band, et partait en tournée à travers le monde, se produisant notamment au Blue Note Jazz Club à New York et au Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club à Londres. Aujourd'hui figure majeur de la scène jazz de Winnipeg et auteur de deux albums audacieux (Subtle Fire, 2009 et Halcyon, 2016), il enseigne à la faculté de musique Desautels, à l'Université du Manitoba.

Will Bonness was only 17 when he joined the Ferguson’s Big Bop Nouveau Band and toured with them around the world. Among other famous venues, he played at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York and at the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London. Now an important figure of Winnipeg's jazz scene, he teaches at the Desautels Faculty of Music at the University of Manitoba and has recorded two albums ((Subtle Fire, 2009 and Halcyon, 2016).
