Spécialiste des instruments à bois, Sean Irvine est un musicien curieux qui aime explorer les musiques folk et traditionnelles dans sa musique, dans une approche très personnelle. Il a notamment travaillé avec des groupes et ensembles variés tels que Dirty Catfish Brass Band, Ron Paley Big Band, Royal Canoe, Papa Mambo ou encore le Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra.
