Guitarist and singer Ardie Sarao began his musical journey at 8 years old. He took basic guitar through the elementary school music program in his native country, the Philippines. His real passion for music began right after he moved to Canada at the age of 13 and he managed to keep his passion alive while doing school and working odd jobs. By his late teens he began getting serious about guitar; trying to emulate classical, flamenco, jazz and multi-styles of rock. His ultimate goal is to be the best musician he can be while balancing family, work and other hobbies. He has performed in various small venues here in Winnipeg and has also done session work both live and in studio. He is hoping to continue to gig on the side while doing studio work both live and at home. He is also planning to release some recordings and online collaborations playing instrumental guitar in varying styles.
