We’re hosting a free meet + greet and open mic for International Women’s Day. Presented through the Indigenous Music Development Program, we hope to help build deeper connections between music communities.
The spirit behind the event is and to celebrate women and non-binary folks with a focus on building relationships with underrepresented and marginalized communities, including Indigenous Peoples, Black Peoples, People of Colour, LGBTTQ* folks, people with disabilities, and the people who exist at those intersections.
Please join us to meet some of the folks doing great work in the music community and beyond and eat some delicious local food. There will be an open mic hosted by award-winning singer/songwriter Kimberley Dawn for those who’d like to share a tune or two.
