About

BarnesBurner is back for the 8th time!
This year with a new name and a Theme … the Child in All of Us.

Come celebrate the arrival of summer with your Treesblood tribal family. Set in the ancient woods of Treesblood Forest, this is everyone’s favourite early summer festival. We feature a family-friendly atmosphere with lots of activities this year for children big and small, under the big tent and out in the woods. There will be dancing, music, arts, crafts, nutritious food, tours, workshops, parade & drama, fire jugglers, a tipi village, camping, and marvelous bonfire jams … all in support of Samaritan House Food Bank and local food security … Suggested Donation $20 (Children under 12 – free)

Schedule:
Gates open 12:00 noon
Children’s stage & activities 1:00 – 6:00 PM
Parade and Drama 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Main Stage Entertainment 7:00 – 11:30 PM
Bonfire Jams 11:30 –

After the very first visit, children can’t wait to return to Treesblood, because here they learn how to celebrate the finest gifts of life – music, dance, art, health, nutrition, nature, play and movement - nourishment for the body and soul. And festival time is special time for families, because beautiful lessons happen when all ages celebrate together in healthy community. At Treesblood, we do not encourage alcohol or drug use, because we want to explore the positive potential of life.
