Eye And Ear Control Records proudly presents a fundraising benefit concert for D'arcy's A.R.C., a long running no-kill animal shelter located in Winnipeg's west end, to be held at the West End Cultural Centre on Friday August 9th. Featured performers are Satanic Rights, Rock Lake and Man Candy. Admission is $10-15, tickets at the door, doors at 7:15 PM, music at 8 PM. Silent auction prizes and an information table by volunteers of D'arcy's A.R.C. will be present.

SATANIC RIGHT - " We play faster than we know how to and louder than we probably should. We write fun songs about dumb stuff but sometimes we'll sneak in something pretty or a song with a point. Dimly lit bars with warm beer is where we're at home. We like Cheap Trick!"

ROCK LAKE - Stalwarts of the rock apocalypse! Unsung, unknown, unstoppable, deep, wide and mysterious. Several releases are available on the Eat Em Up Records inprint.

MAN CANDY - Punk rock duo who prefers fries before guys. Influences include mood swings, pent up nice girl rage, and being beyond done with sh1tty huMANs.

Doors at 7:15, Music at 8 O'clock, 11 PM end. Tickets will be available at the door. This is an ALL AGES, family friendly event.

$10-15 suggested donation. All proceeds go directly to D'arcy's A.R.C.

ABOUT D'ARCY'S A.R.C.

D'Arcy's Animal Rescue Centre was founded by D'Arcy Johnston, a former Animal Health Technician. The A.R.C. officially opened its doors in November of 2001. Prior to that, D'Arcy operated a cat rescue out of his north end home. The A.R.C. has always operated as a not-for-profit organization. In November of 2004, the A.R.C. received its official charitable status. The operations of D'Arcy's A.R.C. are focused on providing shelter, veterinary care, and adoption services for stray and abandoned cats and dogs in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas. Since 2001, over 15,000 animals have found permanent homes through the ARC. At any given time, there are over 100 animals awaiting adoption through our St. James location and foster homes.
