Join Anthony OKS for his "Take Time" release party in partnership with Synonym Art Consultation. The event will feature local MCs, DJs, and a dance party - Tallest Poppy style.
As a member of Winnipeg's hip-hop group, The Lytics, Anthony OKS has toured throughout North America, Europe, and Japan and has shared the stage with some of rap's biggest names. Now it's time for him to showcase his talents as a solo artist.

ABOUT "Take Time" EP
Each of the six songs on “Take Time” unfolds like a chapter in a book, building on the last to create a well-rounded sonic experience. The EP has an introspective tone, it’s the work of an artist exploring the depths of his own past and what has led him to this juncture in life. Far from striking a negative or sombre note, the uplifting nature of the beats coupled with the introspection in the lyrics gives “Take Time” an optimistic edge. The first single,“Let it Fall ft. Joanna Majoko”, produced by Paalsh, was released in May along with an accompanying video. This track premiered on CBC Radio by Odario Williams on “After Dark” and was also picked up by Sidewalk Hustle. “All In” produced by Goldstripes also got the visual treatment - it was released January 12th, 2020.
