It all started with a kijiji ad. From there, four individuals shaped Julien's Daughter. Despite their contrated music tastes & inspirations, a sound was discovered at 2 am in a basement.

Hey there! We're an indie/folk-rock band from Winkler, Manitoba. We call oursleves An Unexpected End as a challenge to redefine what that term means to people. from a feeling of loss and despair to one of peace and a hope beyond ourselves.
