Carrying the spirit of the Northern Faction series, this new instalment fuses together urban beats with live jazz players alongside broken beat, electro soul and dub-style production. The next stage in the foundation of Balanced music sees the expanded roster include many new artists from other northern territories: Latebloomer off Norway's Glamfish Records, Club des Belugas from Germany's Audiographics Label, Ottawa's Rise Ashen, Vancouver's Gavin Froome, UK's King Kooba, San Francisco's Kaskade, Vinyl Republik's Lampshade & Pete Samples, Winnipeg's Andrew Yankiwski along with many of the usual suspects from the Balanced line up.
