Moses Mayes announce release of new Rock it So Hard EP

Winnipeg, MB Moses Mayes, Canadas funk fusion collective, is happy to announce the release of their brand new Rock it So Hard EP on June 18, 2006.

The EP features 3 electro inspired songs featuring the classic sounds of Moses Mayes and numerous guest vocals. The title track, Rock it So Hard, rides in the tradition of early 80s electro breaks, while the hip hop based Come out to Play features Toronto MCs PHATT Al (God Made me Funky) and N.I.Gel (Pocket Dwellers, Blue Note) , and finally the deep trip hop beats of Flow with the cool inspiring vocals of Arian Jean (Madrigaia).

The EP will be distributed by Fusion 3 across Canada with a store street date of July 18, 2006. Advance copies are
available during Moses Mayess upcoming summer tour and through the bands on-line store at www.mosesmayes.com digital downloading services will be adding the songs shortly.

Melding the sound and instrumentation of funk fusion with the irresistible drive of house, Moses Mayess is Canadas answer to modern day groove that has a style like no other. Add the bands unique and explosive live show and you get the most exciting and consistent band to emerge from the scene.

Moses Mayes recently finished recording their third full length release produced by Jamie Shields (the New Deal).
