Manitoba Hal and Doc MacLean on Cross Canada Tour

Manitoba Hal will be joining Doc MacLean on a 45 day, 20,000km odyssey across Canada. The Trans Canada Blues Tour, which has stops in all the provinces from BC through to Nova Scotia, begins Sept 22nd in Thunder Bay,ON and will land in Ottawa during the OCFF conference. Both artists will be releasing new CDs to coincide with the tour and the whole tour will be documented for a DVD release in the spring of 2007. The tour will be conducted acoustically only with no amps and both performers will be on stage at the same time accompanying each other.

Doc MacLean is a blues practioner from Toronto who got used to share an apartment with Colin Linden, toured with Sam Chatmon and was mentored by the legendary Son House.
